Rain Clouds, 2004

This was my last acrylic painting. At the time I painted most of my paintings in the studio, but in the summer of 2004 I wanted to spend more time painting outside. I painted Rain Clouds entirely from the viewpoint in Prineville with difficulty because acrylic paint dries too quickly outdoors. After this painting I switched from acrylic to oil paint.
