Crooked River at Sunset, 2003

This scene of the Crooked River was one of my paintings of the Prineville area that I painted on winter break. I used to ride out along the river on my bike with a bag of paints and make colored sketches. I used the sketches for reference when I came home to finish the paintings. This view of the river is from about a half a mile south of Les Schwab Field with Grizzly Mountain in the background.
