For reference with the painting I sewed these 1/6th scale beach costumes. My original plan was to sew them using vintage sewing patterns rescaled to miniature proportions, but in the end in order to get the fit perfect I had to draw all of the patterns from scratch using measurements. I also made the shoes, colored the fabric, and made the little shirt buttons from resin with a mold.
